Missouri Walk of Fame
May 23, 2010 It was such an honor to receive a Star on the Missouri Walk of Fame. I was fortunate enough to have my family and friends present with me to share in the excitement. I would like to thank everyone in my hometown of Marshfield, Missouri that made this possible.

Nashville Flooding
May 4, 2010 I am sure most of you have heard about the horrible flooding that has taken place in Nashville over the past few days. Thankfully my family and I are fine as well as our home. Unfortuntly there are hundreds of people who were not as lucky as us. I will be doing what I can during the recovery period to help Music City recover from all the damage and I would like to make you all aware of a few ways that you can help as well. The Nashville Area Red Cross is in need of financial support to continue providing relief to victims of local disaster flooding. The American Red Cross is not a government agency. All disaster assistance is free, and is funded solely by local donations. There are several ways to give:

Wearin' Her Knees Out Over Me
January 19, 2010 A few weeks ago we issued a newsletter stating that my song "Wearin' Her Knees Out Over Me," which was nominated for song of the year in the Strictly Country awards did not win. Apparently, somewhere in the e-mailing process there was a mistake! I'm pleased to announce that the song DID win. Below is a link to Strictly Country's website along with a list of all the winners! Brandon Rickman's new album " Young Man Old Soul," which contains the song can be found on I-Tunes! Thanks so much for all of you who voted! http://www.strictly-country.com/2010.html Fans of country music have officially voted to present the following awards to the following entertainers: Ash Bowers walks away with Entertainer of the Year, Performance of the Year, Starbound Award and Best of the Best. These Spirit Awards are Mr. Bower’s first. Brad Paisley claims his third consecutive Male Vocalist of the Year. While Taylor Swift claims her second Spirit Award with Female Vocalist of The Year Award. Where as Rascal Flatts earn their second Spirit Award claiming Vocal Group of the Year. The honor of Living Legend of the Year is awarded to Randy Travis. However the big surprise came with the Spirit Award’s Song of The Year. The fans overwhelming voted for “Wearin’ Her Knees Out Over Me” recorded by Brandon Rickman. The other surprise came when the staff at Strictly Country named Wynonna Judd as Entertainer of The Decade. “Wynonna is truly a remarkable entertainer,” stated President of Strictly Country Gina Kay Singerhouse. “Her live performances are experiences. She captures the hearts and souls of those who attend and then releases them with vast inspriration!” This year, marks the fifteenth anniversary of the Spirit Awards. The Spirit Awards began as an opportunity for any country music entertainer to be nominated. To earn a nomination, each country music entertainer must have performed or made a public appearance within a designated area of the Twin Cities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, Minnesota. The awards then give the public the opportunity to vote for their favorite country music entertainer. This year fans were able to choose from fifty-two nominees. - Justin
